Step into a world where vintage romance meets bold urban edge - POPPY FIELD AVENUE is here. This new digital paper collection blends artsy poppy flowers with London-inspired urban sketches, layered with graffiti textures, handwritten letters, and the charm of a stationery nook. It's a tribute to love letters, street corners, and the quiet poetry of everyday places.
I've created a full step-by-step video series showing you how to create a complete junk journal using the POPPY FIELD AVENUE collection - from first cut to final embellishment. Whether you’re brand new to junk journaling or a seasoned creator, this series is made for all levels and walks you through the process with ease and fun.
Even better - I’ve discovered a technique that finally quiets the perfectionist voice. This approach helps you build an artsy, cohesive journal without overthinking. It’s freeing, playful, and full of happy surprises. No pressure, just joy.
In this post, you’ll find inspirational ideas, detailed photos and information about products and mediums I used, and the PAPER PREMIERE replay (if you missed the live chat, no worries—you can still watch! A huge THANK YOU to all of you who have joined the live chat!) If you wanna watch the replay make sure to grab your headphones!
So brew something warm, gather your favorite scissors and glue, and let’s explore POPPY FIELD AVENUE together - where every page is a letter, and every letter is a memory waiting to be reborn.

EASY MATH FOR JUNK JOURNAL SIGNATURES WITH MIXED PAGE SIZES
Learn the easiest way to plan signatures with mixed page sizes for your junk journal. No stress, just simple math and creative flow! This style mirrors the charm of old letters - because just like handwritten mail, not every page has to be the same size. The mix creates rhythm, texture, and a story all its own.
So grab your papers and let’s craft something that feels just like a bundle of letters sent from Poppy Field Avenue - easy, creative, and full of soul.

Why I’m smashing stuff all over my signatures - TRUST ME! 😊
If I were a drinker, I would probably have a cocktail today - the kind that comes with a tiny umbrella and enough strong ingredients to knock out a buffalo. But since I don’t drink, I have a piece of candy which is my stand-in courage booster. Because somehow, somehow, I’ve got to convince you that trying the technique from this video is a brilliant idea — even if it means sitting in a box like a confused cat and ending up with a table that looks like mine... which is currently somewhere between ‘creative chaos’ and ‘crime scene‘....
The following colors pair beautifully with the paper collection. I’ve listed the distress oxide sprays and spray stains for you, as I find them especially handy for the technique shown in the videos. However, you can also use regular ink pads or oxide ink pads - just put the ink onto your work mat, add a bit of water, and soak it up with a sponge. And of course, this list of colors doesn't mean you need them all, it's just a list of options :) and those are the ones I used in my videos.
