What started as a simple ephemera session turned into something much bigger. In this double episode, you’ll learn how to create ephemera pieces that beautifully harmonize with the rest of your journal - and how one creative idea can unexpectedly spark the next.

We’ll talk about how many pages go into each signature, how many signatures we’ll include overall, and how to deal with papers and materials that just don’t seem to fit - too small, too big, the wrong direction, or made from something that looks impossible to work with.

PAGE EDGES - DETAILS THAT MAKE A DIFFERENCE

In this episode, we’re giving our journal pages that extra bit of personality - by focusing on the edges! You’ll learn how to add texture, layers, and dimension to your page edges using different materials and techniques.

LET'S STICK IT! FINDING A HOME FOR THE EPHEMERA!

In this episode, we’re bringing all those beautiful ephemera pieces to life by giving them their place inside the journal. You’ll see how I decide where each piece belongs, how to balance colors and textures, and how small adjustments can completely change the mood of a page. This step is where everything starts to come together - the moment your journal begins to tell its own story.

In this episode, we’re creating our hardcover journal cover completely from scratch. We’ll talk about which materials work best (and which ones absolutely don’t) to make sure your journal turns out sturdy and ready to be loved for a long time.

In this episode, we’re sewing our signatures into the cover — the moment when all those loose pages finally turn into a real journal! We’ll go step by step through the process and talk about how to get a strong and even binding without losing your mind (or your thread).

In this final episode, we’ll add the last little details - those finishing touches that make your journal truly yours.
